Prior to a deposition or courtroom testimony, Dr. Woodcock meticulously prepares the relevant facts and patient diagnosis to present an unbiased, accurate, and medically sound opinion. This process may include:

An Independent Medical Examination (IME)

A thorough neurological examination of the injured party

Analysis and evaluation of patient’s condition, treatment and medical claim

Review of the injured party’s medical history, records and depositions

Investigation as to whether the injured party has reached maximum benefit from treatment and assessment of whether any permanent impairment remains from the injury

Review of all relevant medical, neurological, psychological and neuropsychological testing


 

Recruited as a medical expert and witness for both plaintiff and defense cases, Dr. Woodcock’s role may include:

Providing:

Objective, accurate medical analysis of the injured party’s condition, implication of the past medical records, and interpretation of medical tests

Opinion regarding life expectancy based upon the patient’s characteristics and pathology

Opinion regarding life care planning issues
