Jonathan Woodcock, M.D. is president of Neurological Rehabilitation Resources, P.C., a Denver-based medical practice he founded in 1995.Board certified in internal medicine, neurology, and psychiatry, Dr. Woodcock has developed exceptional treatment protocols for outpatient managed care in neurology, neuropsychiatry and neurological and neurobehavioral rehabilitation. He assesses and oversees therapy for people with neurological illnesses such as brain injury, headaches, chronic pain conditions, stroke, dementia, and developmental problems and late spinal cord injury.

Dr. Woodcock regularly consults with patients and their families, as well as patients’ medical and legal professionals following catastrophic injuries. He also testifies as an expert witness in numerous jurisdictions regarding related issues.

Dr. Woodcock is a 1977 graduate of the SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Houghton College, Houghton, New York.

He completed internships and residencies at University Hospitals of Cleveland, Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and McLean Hospital in Massachusetts. He has held numerous hospital appointments. Currently these include North Valley Rehab Hospital, St. Anthony’s Hospital and University Hospital in Denver and North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.

Professional Affiliations and Academic Appointments

Dr. Woodcock is president of the medical staff of North Valley Rehabilitation Hospital and is medical director of the Greeley Center for Independence.

He has received several academic appointments over the course of 25 years, including teaching assignments at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and Harvard University in Boston. Dr. Woodcock is currently an Associate Clinical Professor of Neurology and Assistant Clinical Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Woodcock is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, Society for Behavioral and Cognitive Neurology, American Psychiatric Association, American Society of Neurorehabilitation, American Neuropsychiatric Association, American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine, Colorado Society of Clinical Neurologists and Colorado Psychiatric Society. He is a former board president of the Brain Injury Association of Colorado, and served on the professional advisory board of the Colorado Epilepsy Society. He currently serves on the State of Colorado Brain Injury Advisory Board and the Legislative Committee of the Brain Injury Association of Colorado. He has served on the State of Colorado Workers’ Compensation Task Forces on Treatment Guidelines for Traumatic Brain Injury and Chronic Pain.
